Class Description
D-Anne's classes focus on the use of
weight, breath, and the flow of energy. Class is structured to include
floor, barre, and centre exercises in which dancers are encouraged to
find the internal physical impulse for every movement, and are given
the opportunity to explore delicate articulation, the ability to fill
and manipulate space, as well as the power of stillness. Careful attention
is paid to proper placement while working on the use of the Graham spiral
through the back, Cunningham torso articulation, and the Limon suspend
and release.
