Professional Discounts
Members of CADA/BC and CADA-ON receive a wide range of Professional Rates or 'community discounts'at various venues or for select dance service organizations. All members are required to show your CADA chapter Membership Card to prove you are a member in good standing!
Nationally
Dancer Transition Resource Centre (DTRC) Members of both CADA chapters receive a $10 discount on DTRC annual membership fees. The DTRC was founded in 1985 and its' mandate is to help dancers make necessary transitions into, within, and out of professional performing careers. As a member of the DTRC, a wide range of programs and services are available to dancers of all forms and genres, services include five types of professional counselling, resources and information, and grants for skills development and retraining.
Membership in CADA-ON automatically gets you membership in Canadian Dance Assembly (make it a link to their site). The Canadian Dance Assembly (CDA) is the voice of the professional dance sector in Canada. Click on the link for more information about CDA.

The Dance Centre (677 Davie Street, Vancouver) CADA/BC members receive $10 off the "Associate Artist" level membership. Established in 1986 as a resource centre for the dance profession and the public in British Columbia, The Dance Centre has evolved into a multifaceted organization offering a range of activities unparalleled in Canadian dance. The Dance Shop (1089 W. Broadway, Vancouver) CADA/BC members receive 10% off all regular priced merchandise purchased in the store. If $250 or more is spent, CADA/BC members will receive a 20% off gift card applicable for 6 months from that date. www.thedanceshop.ca
Performance Discounts CADA/BC members receive ticket discounts at several theatres throughout Vancouver. These discounts vary by theatre venue, please be sure to have your membership card with you in order to obtain the discount!
