Annual General Meeting


At the end of each chapter's fisal year, an Annual General Meeting is held, which is open to both members and non-members.

For non-members, this is an opportunity to learn more about the organization, network with other dance professionals, and meet the Board and staff of the chapter. Non-members will also be able to apply for members on the spot.

For voting members, attending the AGM is a responsibility, as it can not be held with out quorum*. The annual report is presented and financial statements reviewed for approval. It is an opportunity to elect new members to the Board of Directors and acknowledge the contribution of directors whose terms are complete.

The AGM is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the organization over the past year and to determine future directions.

* Quorum for the Ontario Chapter is 20% of voting members in good standing.
